Isaac Blows into Central Arkansas

The remnants of Hurricane Isaac have reached Central Arkansas.

Winds and rain started moving into the Little Rock metro area shortly after noon.

Earlier today, the storm rolled into southern Arkansas. Since then there have been hundreds of power outages.

On the Entergy outage website, four counties show outages numbering more than 1,000 customers as of two o'clock this afternoon. They include: Ashley, Chicot, Jefferson and Pulaski. Outages are also reported in the hundreds in Columbia, Dallas, Desha, Drew, Faulkner, Garland, Saline and Union counties.

Meanwhile, two people were taken to a Little Rock hospital this afternoon when a tree fell on their car.

It happened shortly after one o'clock in the 2000 block of South Tyler Street.
