Man Shot Outside Apartment in Southwest Little Rock

A man is recovering after being shot outside an apartment in Southwest Little Rock.
It happened around 12:30 this morning in the 6000 block of Queensboro Drive, just off Geyer Springs Road.
Little Rock Police say Antwan Carter, 31, of Little Rock, suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh and then drove himself to the hospital. His injury was not life-threatening, police said.
Carter told officers he was visiting with a woman outside an apartment when the suspect drove up, walked up to them "talking crazy," then started shooting before getting back into a white, four-door Mercury and driving away.
Several other people were also outside the apartment, but no one else was injured.
