On Tuesday evening, KARK's Brittney Johnson gave viewers a tour inside and outside the hotel our crew is staying along the coast in Gulfport, Mississippi and its history with hurricanes.
In the video clip posted above, Brittney explains how close the hotel is to the coast where waves are already whipping in the water.
In a second video clip, Brittney takes us inside the hotel and shows us the remarkable height water rose during Hurricane Katrina.
You can catch Brittney's reports from Gulfport during KARK News at 10 p.m. and also Wednesday's edition of KARK 4 Today beginning at 5 a.m. After her morning reports, Brittney will follow the storm north into Louisiana.
