Memphis Motorcyclist Killed in I-40 Accident at West Memphis

A Memphis motorcyclist has died in an accident on Interstate 40 in West Memphis.

Jefferson L. Grose, 30, was killed shortly after 7:30 Sunday night after his bike was hit by a car in the eastbound lanes.

According to the Arkansas State Police (ASP) accident report, Grose was knocked off his bike, which then struck three other vehicles.

No one in those vehicles had any injuries, the ASP said.

The accident report states that Grose was riding his motorcycle eastbound on I-40 behind a vehicle that did not see him until the driver tried to change lanes, overcorrected and then hit his bike.
