Preparing for Isaac Evacuees in South Arkansas

As Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac continues to move toward the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, some Drew County organizations are beginning to prepare for potential evacuees, that may come to, or through, Monticello, as they seek safety and shelter.
Planning meetings are being scheduled today.
Highway 425 was a source of escape for many victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Gustav.
