A Boone County man has been arrested after a drive-by shooting in Diamond City.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) says it received a call for assistance from the Lead Hill Police Department after the Monday incident on Buck Street.

Investigators responded to the scene and collected evidence before finding the vehicle described by the victim at another home in Diamond City, where the BCSO says more evidence related to the shooting was found.

The vehicle's owner was identified as Ronald Mallory, 54, of Diamond City.

The BCSO says the firearm used in the shooting was found at Mallory's home.

Mallory was arrested for a Terroristic Act and taken to the Boone County Jail.

His bond was set at 25-thousand dollars, which he posted and was released.
