Update: Pine Bluff PD Arrest Aggravated Robbery Suspect

The man who pulled a gun on a store clerk after stealing a 30 pack of beer was arrested Wednesday night.
Pine Bluff Police report 29-year-old Jason Anderson was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

Pine Bluff Police are searching for a man in connection to an aggravated robbery that took place last Friday.
Officers responded to the call at the Hazel Street Food Mart on West 17th Avenue, where the clerk said a man walked in and stole a 30 pack of beer. The clerk chased after the man, but stopped his pursuit after the suspect pointed a gun at him.
The suspect was described as a tall black male who had on a backwards baseball hat featuring an "A," a large white t-shirt, dark shorts, white socks and white shoes.
The suspect is wanted for aggravated robbery and theft, and is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information should call the Pine Bluff Police Detective Division at (870) 730-2090. All calls will be kept confidential and a reward is available for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s).
