GOP candidate Mitt Romney has left Arkansas following a very successful fundraising event on Wednesday and an overnight stay in Little Rock.
The candidate's flight left the state around nine o'clock this morning.

Mitt Romney's campaign says Wednesday's fundraiser in Little Rock was the biggest in Arkansas history.
According to Arkansas Democrat Gazette's Charlie Frago, the fundraiser capped $2 million, making it the largest in the history of the Natural State.
Romney spoke for about 20 minutes in the Peabody Grand Ballroom in front of 250 people, according to Frago.
Congressman Tim Griffin received some praise from Romney, who reportedly thanked him for a great job in his state on Romney's behalf.
In his opening statement, Romney said, "I appreciate your applause and your money," Frago reports.

@Marcus...ALL true, ALL appalling, and NONE in the 49th poorest State in the Union, during the "Greatest Economic Crisis Since the Great Depression"....if Romney's support in "Red" Arkansas is SO strong, why were there 3 DOZEN protesters out there, in broad daylight, SCREAMIN' [censored] MURDER "the party of 'legitimate [censored]'" at the $25,000/plate attendees? Yet, Romney's support consisted ENTIRELY of FIVE, paid, out-of-state (MI and VA) "supporters", selling buttons for the campaign (and, if ya asked, they had Obama/Biden 2012 buttons at the same price...just fyi)....it also would explain why a flushed faced (R) Congressman Tim Griffin proudly informed Arkansas Voters and their Families that "...Arkansas would go Romney 15-20-25 points or more..."...AND fits w/the narrative Cong. Griffin went along with which, bottom line, was Gov. Romney is NEVER coming back to Little Rock....ostensibly 'cos he got what he needed-the record setting $2MILLION in 2 HOURS. Certainly, it would have nothing to do with the Governor's Campaign being caught COMPLETELY OFF GUARD and UNAWARES of the "welcome party", that awaited them. Pity, 'cos we had hospitality and sweet tea just waitin' for the Governor to stop by and wave, shake a hand, kiss a baby, take a pic (that DIDN'T cost $10,000), press the flesh as they say. Not so much as a peep through a window, though. Not a SINGLE question from a SINGLE media outlet, and unless you were LRPD, or had a MINIMUM $2,500, no chance of a handshake.

I have watched your lopsided coverage of the Romney fundraiser. First your reporter outside is a shill for the DNC. Secondly could you not put a note in that Obama has attended 159 fundraisers since he was elected, twice as many as any other president. Most (91%) have been closed affairs as high as $250K per plate. I know it's hard to report from Obama's lap waiting for your treat, but at least pretend to be objective.
