Investigation Underway After Man Found with Gunshot Wound in Bathtub

An investigation is underway in Quitman after a man in his 20s was found to be shot in the chest in a bathtub.
A family reportedly contacted authorities around 5:30 Monday morning after getting incoherent text messages from their son's girlfriend. Deputies went to her house in Quitman and found a broken window and the man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The girl was found dazed, but alive in a field near East Side Elementary in Greenbrier at about 11:30 Monday morning.
Faulkner County, Arkansas State Police, and US Marshals are all working this case.
They are looking for a man who had an argument with him last week.
