Little Rock Community Talks Violence Prevention

People came together in Little Rock Sunday to talk and listen about ways to stop the violence in their community.

It was a fun day with plenty of entertainment, but the event was centered around a much more serious topic of gangs, crime and where their influences come from.

City leaders addressed kids and parents on the affects of violence. More specifically the Internet and Facebook, and how young is too young for children to be exposed to some materials.

Todd Heart of the Little Rock Police Department says, "If they get stuff like the Internet, there's stuff on the Internet that grown adult men - 31 years of age - don't even need to see."

The event was held at Trinity Baptist Church.
