Man in Hospital After Pedestrian Accident in Pine Bluff

A man walking on South Locust Street in Pine Bluff was struck by a car around 9:15 last night.

53-year-old Donald Slater was rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition at this hour.

Curly Bowers of Pine Bluff struck Slater with his 2005 Chevy Silverado while traveling west on West 15th, according to the Pine Bluff Police Department.

Police investigated and did not issue any citations.
