Phil McCraw reflects on his last mission trip to Guyana, he's preparing his heart for his next trip, this time to Nigeria.
"We don't know how lucky we have it here. Guyana, going there and seeing how other people live. The poverty was shocking and really changed my life," explains McCraw.
Impact of his trip to Guyana is the reason McCraw is teaming up with his pastor for his next adventure to Nigeria.
While in Africa this duo will team up with missionaries from their church Nigerian natives Paul Lawal and his wife.
"We're going there to help him plant a Baptist church in that area," says Pastor David Smith .
Despite the political turmoil in Nigeria, Pastor Smith feels a responsibility to share his faith around the world.
"We believe not only are we responsible to carry the gospel here in our own area, but we're responsible to go around the world with the gospel," explains Smith.
