State Police: Bicyclist Dies while Riding on Freeway near West Memphis

A bicyclist was killed in a Sunday morning accident near West Memphis in Crittenden County.

Pierre McReynolds, 42, of Memphis, was struck near mile marker 3 of Interstate 55 South.

It happened just before six o'clock.

State Police say he was hit by a truck going in the same direction.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
