Driver in Deadly Rison Accident Released from Hospital

A teenaged driver involved in a Tuesday crash that killed a Rison teen has been released from the hospital.

According to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, 17-year-old Josh Cook has been released.

The driver of the other vehicle, 63-year-old Lee Applegarth, remains in the Intensive Care Unit in fair condition.
   
Justin Ross, a passenger in Cook's car, is listed in serious condition at Baptist Health in Little Rock.
   
Logan Prescott, 17, died at the scene when police say Cook struck Applegarth's oncoming car head-on while attempting to pass in a no-passing zone.
