Groundbreaking Cancer Research Study Seeking Participants

By: Nichelle Sullivan
Updated: August 8, 2012

Now there's a chance for Arkansans to help in the fight against cancer! Enrollment for a cancer prevention study - 3 kicked off at the American Cancer Society in Little Rock Wednesday.

It's a long term study researchers hope will help them better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer.

That information could help them save lives.

The study is open to anyone between 30 and 65 years old who has never been diagnosed with cancer.

Some skin cancers are exempt from that rule.

Enrollment will continue at various locations across central Arkansas through Saturday
