The Freedom From Religion Foundation issued a press release Wednesday, urging the owner of the Willow Springs Water Park to no longer offer church group discounts that are available to non-profits.

This all happening after a North Little Rock charity serving at-risk youth in North Little Rock was denied the discount for not having a religious affiliation.

The owner of Willow Springs Water Park, David Ratliff, telling KARK he has thoroughly reviewed the Civil Rights Act and does not believe his discount violates the statute. He intends to continue doing business as he has in the past, he said.

While I'm on the subject I also want to say that if the shoe was on the other foot meaning, if a religious organization was denied something just because they had religious affiliation you wouldnt be telling anyone to mind there own business. I'm calling for all secular business' to have an Athiest Day. Boy wouldnt that be something... All these fanatical religious organizations would have them shut down in hours.

Same goes for you sir... Personally I think it is everyones business when a business denies a charity aaccses to a discount because they have no religious affliation. No matter how you look at it, it can be concidered discrimination. Plus if it was a business decision then why would you not want 50 coustomers on you slowest day? Sounds like Mr. Ratcliff, based on comments he made to kark, didnt want a bunch of under-privlidged kids running around his park causing trouble.
