Today, prosecutors released dashcam video from a deadly Trumann police officer shooting in April 2011.
Officer Jonathan Schmidt pulled over a car in which Jerry Lard was a passenger.
The driver was handcuffed for an unrelated warrant.
During that time, Lard started firing, killing the officer.
Police say this video can help officers learn as part of their training.
Lard was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death row.
Out of respect for the family the video only shows the moments leading up to the shooting.
