Man who Left 16-Month-Old Daughter in Hot Car Formally Charged

The father of a 16-month-old daughter who died after being left in a hot car was formally charged Monday.

Matt Tickle, 27, is charged with negligent homicide after a Monday court appearance, according to KAIT.
   
Police say Tickle meant to take her to day care, but accidentally left the young girl strapped in a car seat while he went to work on Friday.
   
The child was not noticed until Tickle arrived home from his job.

KAIT reports that Tickle bonded out of Jackson County Detention Center on Monday.
