Man Dies After Striking A Tree with His Car

A Saturday night crash near Benton has killed one man. Fifty-eight-year-old David Alan Garrett of Little Rock died in a vehicle wreck a little after seven last night.

According to state police, Garrett drove off highway 70 and crashed into a tree.

They do not know why he lost control of the vehicle.

Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
