Meth Use in Teens on the Rise

methMore young adults are using crystal meth than previously thought...

A survey sponsored by the national institutes of health shows 2.8 percent of 18 to 26-year olds used meth in 2001 and 2002. That's up from other surveys which indicated usage among young adults was at 1.5 percent.

Researchers say the typical users were white males who live in the west.

Meth use was also higher among Native Americans.
