Money Savers: Savor the City

By:
Updated: August 3, 2012

Dining out in Little Rock just got easier for those on a budget.   All throughout August dozens of the city's best restaurants are offering special pricing and menu options.  It's called Savor the City.

There's a taste for every palate as a variety of restaurants are stepping up to participate.

"It's something that we think is a good venue to hand select a menu item that may not be the most popular and feature it," said Lilly's Dim Sum and B-Side owner Nancy Tesmer.

The specials change each week starting on Wednesdays throughout August.  They range from free appetizers to  deeply discounted 3 course dinners.  Each restaurant is offering up something different.

Breakfast hot spot B-Side is serving up a full order of beignets at half-price.  "We serve that with one of four house-made fruit coulis or a lemon curd," said Tesmer.

The promotions are perfectly timed for the end of Summer and back-to-school, and it's your ticket to the city's best cuisine.
