The National Weather Service in Little Rock says this is day number 24 of 100-degree heat in the city this year.
That means Little Rock is now in 5th place for greatest number of 100-degree days in a year.

That means Little Rock is now tied for 6th place for greatest number of 100-degree days in a year.
The high temperature for the capital city as of 11:40 a.m. is 103.
