Large Grass Fire Near Roland, No Homes Threatened

A large grass fire is burning near Roland this afternoon.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says crews with the West Pulaski and Lake Maumelle fire departments have been on the scene since just before 11:30.
As of three o'clock, the fire was not threatening homes, as it burned along Roland Cutoff and Wild Oak Lane.
