The River Rail system has been operating in Little Rock-North Little Rock since 2004.

The trolley cars are replicas of those that ran all across the cities up until 1927.

River Rail Manager Virginia Fry says the system runs full service of its green line and blue line (two cars each) Monday through Saturday with reduced service of one car for each line on Sunday.

It costs adults one-dollar to ride and 50 cents for kids 5 to 11.

A day pass is also available for two-dollars.

River Rail operators provide information on historic sites, restaurants, museums, and current community events from your vantage point on the heated and cooled streetcar.

The River Rail's blue line goes over the Main Street bridge into North Little Rock while the green line operates only in downtown Little Rock.

More than one-million people have taken a ride on the system since service began.
