Crews will perform an inspection of plowable lane markers on Interstate 40 in the North Little Rock area, which will require moving lane closures next week.

The work is scheduled for the Morgan and Crystal Hill areas of Interstate 40 and will require one of the available travel lanes in each direction to be closed temporarily during the day, utilizing a moving lane closure.

The moving lane closures are scheduled as follows:

Morgan Area

Monday, July 23 Milemarker 138-142
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Westbound outside

Milemarker 142-147
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Eastbound outside

Motorists are urged to move to the available lane(s) as early as possible and should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
