Gould Mayor Found Guilty of Misdemeanor Battery

A Star City District judge found Gould Mayor Ernest Nash guilty of 3rd degree battery against a woman voted into the city clerk's office.

The victim, Pamela Gibson, accused the mayor of injuring her arm in a dispute over her position as the city clerk.

The mayor was found not guilty of battery in the 3rd degree against a city council member and not guilty of  Terroristic Threatening related to the same incident.  Nash has thirty days to appeal or pay a fine of more than $600.
