Back in March 2012, police searched the last location Cleashindra Hall, 18, was seen before vanishing nearly two decades ago.
A month later, police discovered the evidence collected had not been sent to the State Crime Lab as it should have been.
Crime Scene Tech Cathy Ruhl was given a five-day suspension, Pine Bluff police confirm, after an internal investigation into the delay.
Police tell KARK others could also face disciplinary action in connection with the internal investigation.
