A group with the goal of changing the world, one house at a time, is in Little Rock this week.

World Changers is a student mission project for personal preparation and group development that gives participants hands-on experience in helping others.

The 215 young people taking part in World Changers travel across the country fixing up homes for senior citizens or disabled individuals who need the helping hands to get the work done.

Their individual jobs range from painting to roof repairs.

Homeowner Earl Brown, 80, is one person who's benefiting from World Changers.

"It's just amazing to see young people do this kind of work. I'm proud that you've selected my home to do this work," Brown said.

The student missionaries have a list of 14 homes to work on in Little Rock.
