A valued employee of the Pulaski County Sheriff's office was fired for stealing on the job.

The sheriff fired warrants clerk Sharon Parker Thursday. She reportedly admitted to stealing cash from sheriff's office, less than $100.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office says they are in the process of drawing up a warrant in her name for misdemeanor theft, but at last check she's not been arrested.

Parker has worked for the sheriff's office for over six years.
