The Chamber Music Society of Little Rock Announces Concert Schedule for 2012-2013 Season

Celebrating its 59th Season, the Chamber Music Society of Little Rock (CMSLR) continues a tradition of bringing exciting and inspiring chamber music concerts to audiences young and old. During the 2012-13 Season, the Society offers four varied chamber music concerts featuring gifted award-winning artists; the American String Quartet, Clarinetist Narek Arutyunian, Violinist Rachel Barton Pine and Cellist Sebastian Baverstam.

In addition to the presentation of four evening performances, artists presented by the Society participate in outreach activities such as master classes and "informances" for young students throughout Central Arkansas. During the 2012-13 Season, CMSLR will work with music students at Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School, Mills High School, Central High School and The Youth Rock Orchestra.

October 11, 2012 American String Quartet Parish Hall, St. Mark's Episcopal Church

December 6, 2012 Narek Arutyunian, Clarinet Parish Hall, St. Mark's Episcopal Church

February 14, 2013 Rachel Barton Pine, Violin Great Hall, Clinton Library

April 4, 2013 Sebastian Baverstam, Cello Parish Hall, St. Mark's Episcopal Church

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1000 North Mississippi Avenue, Little Rock.

The Clinton Library, 1200 President Clinton Avenue, Little Rock.

Tickets

Season tickets: $85 for all four concerts--

a 23% savings over individual ticket purchases

Single tickets: $35 for the Rachel Barton Pine Concert

$25 for the other three concerts

Student tickets: $10 for

all performances
