Drew County: Stepdad Accused of Killing Toddler to Face Death Penalty

A Drew County man will face the death penalty when he goes to trial on charges that he killed his step-daughter.

Daniel Pedraza, 23, is accused in the February death of two-year-old Aubriana Cole in Monticello.

Monticello Police say the child's mother found her daughter in bed and not breathing. The little girl was pronounced death after being taken to the hospital.
