No Pit Bull Ban in Northwest Arkansas Town

After much controversy, pit bulls will not be banned in West Fork.

According to Mayor Frances Hime, the original ordinance will no longer include the proposed pit bull ban after the city council voted in support of the change.

The council met again Tuesday night to discuss the remainder of the ordinance.

Hime said they will consider changes to animal services and harsher punishments for irresponsible owners.
