White County Man Arrested on Murder Charge in Girlfriend's Death

Authorities now believe that an April death initially reported as a suicide was actually a murder, and have arrested the man they believe is responsible.
Deputies from the White County Sheriff's Office arrested Charles S. Berry, 48, with second-degree murder in the death of his then-girlfriend Donna Kennedy, 42.
Kennedy died on April 20 from a gunshot wound to the head at the home in which the couple lived on 120 Cutoff Road, outside Searcy.
