Fayetteville Police: Man Attacked over Money for BBQ Sauce

Fayetteville Police have arrested a man they say tried to beat up another man over money for barbecue sauce.

It happened in a store parking lot.

According to investigators, Steven Gregg, 37, faces charges of robbery and public intoxication.

Police say when the victim refused to give Gregg money, he threatened to beat him up and then attacked him.

The man was able to get in his car and get away from Gregg, however officers say Gregg did try to chase after him.
