As the University of Arkansas continues to grow, new challenges also arise in conjunction with that growth.

So together, the U of A and Fayetteville are working together to form a Town and Gown Advisory Committee.

The committee, made up of university staff, city officials and residents, will focus on issues commonly found in university towns across the country.

According to the city, research has shown a collaborative relationship between the community (town) and the local college or university (gown) contributes to overall quality of life for everyone involved.
