Ouachita County Woman Celebrates 114th Birthday

A Ouachita County woman has celebrated her 114th birthday.
Gertrude Weaver was born on the 4th of July, 1898, in White County.
Friends and family gathered yesterday at Silver Oaks Health and Rehab in Camden to celebrate Weaver and her ten plus decades of life.
She was once a cook and caretaker for a family in California and says the secret to long life is "hard work and trusting God.".
Weaver has lived at the rehab facility for the past three years.
