Update: Wildfire In Lonoke County

Three individuals were arrested for felony criminal mischief in connection with the fire.
Arkansas State Police say they found Katlynn Charleen Mayfield (in photo left), 23, Samantha Ashley Mayfield, 21, and Matthew Lynn Mayfield, 24, riding four-wheelers in the field and shooting fireworks.
A home, two outbuildings, and some vehicles were damaged in the fire.
Lonoke County Judge Doug Erwin has stated that due to the burn ban and dry conditions, personal fireworks will not be allowed in the county.
Sheriff Jim Roberson says that anyone shooting fireworks without a permit will be arrested.
The Mayfields were all released from jail after posting $2,500 bail each.

Lonoke County fire officials have confirmed that there is a wildfire burning on West Mountain Springs Road off of Highway 5.
So far 40 acres have been burned and 3 homes are on fire.
No word on the cause of this fire. Reporters are on the way to the scene and KARK 4 will have more information as it becomes available.
