AR Defense Attorneys Reaffirming Freedom

Organizers say the purpose is to re-affirm the hard-won liberties of America's founding fathers, the day before Independence Day.
"Have people remember what July the 4th means---that it's not about fireworks and parties and hotdogs, that it is about our freedoms," said Gina Reynolds, Public Defender.
The event is the first for Arkansas and coincides with similar readings in 11 other states and Washington DC, said Cheryl Bernard, a criminal defense attorney who organized the Arkansas event.
The reading was held in the Pulaski County Courthouse at 11: 30 a.m.
