The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is in the middle of a $67,000 construction project.
The majority of the work is being done at night to prevent any flight delays.
Airport officials said once the first phase of the project is completed in February you'll notice some major differences to the ticket lobby, a new baggage building as well as the addition of curb-side check- in.
"So this is going to be their first image they see and when they come in," said Shane Carter. "They're not only going to see a modern progressive image, but they're also going to see an airport that's very much listening to them and putting into practice what we hear from our customers and making this an airport that's world class."
This only phase one and over the next five to seven years they'll spend one hundred and seventy five million dollars on additional improvements.
