Pulaski Co. Writes Burn Ban Citations

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: July 3, 2012
Pulaski County Sheriff Deputies issued two citations Monday to violators of the county's burn ban.  The violations happened at 3707 Charles Street and 4406 Darrell Lane, both in Little Rock.

The ban is in place because of extremely dry weather conditions and potential for fire hazards.  That means unlike in previous years, fireworks in the unincorporated portion of Pulaski County are not allowed.

Sheriff Doc Holladay says deputies will continue to be out in force over the next few days to respond to any burn ban violations.  He reminds violators that they can be held liable for any damage they cause.
