Bald Knob Cancels Fireworks Show

Due to continued hot and dry conditions, another local city has canceled its fireworks display.
Bald Knob Mayor Doyle Wallace said the city has decided to cancel its display because of the lack of rain.
"We decided (having the fireworks display) wasn't the smart thing to do," Wallace said.
Bald Knob joins two other cities in the county that have cancelled their July 4 fireworks displays, joining Judsonia and Russell.
