A four-year-old boy has drowned in a Fayetteville neighborhood pool.

It happened Saturday at the Barrington Parke Pool.

The Fayetteville Police Department's Sgt. Craig Stout says the child was with family when he went under for a few minutes.

Paramedics performing CPR were able to get a heartbeat and he was flown to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

The child passed away this morning, according to the Pulaski County Coroner.
