Northwest Arkansas Law Enforcement Issuing Burn Ban Fines

Two people are facing fines for shooting off fireworks during the burn ban in Washington County.
Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office say they caught Beth Alexander and Dwayne Martin, both 44, of Springdale, shooting fireworks on the bank of a lake near a line of dry trees late Saturday night.
Both were arrested on other unrelated charges, but also face fines for violating the county's burn ban.
