Kensett Fire Cause Still Undetermined

The cause of a January fire in Kensett has been ruled as "undetermined," according to an investigator with the Arkansas State Police.
Investigator Arthur Raff said he was able to local the area where the fire started, but was unable to determine the exact cause of the blaze that destroyed four of the buildings in Kensett, including the district courtroom and city council chambers.
"The fire started in the area of the beauty salon, but I can't tell you at exactly what point or why," Raff said. "I just know it started in that area."
He said he could rule that the fire was not an arson.
