I-430 Ramp Closes Wednesday, Opens in Early 2013
Drivers beware, the ramp to I-430 at the intersection off South Shackleford Road and Hermitage Road will close this morning starting at 9:00 am, and the ramp won't open again until early 2013.
This will allow contractors to complete most of the work around that particular area. Detour signs will be in place for drivers wanting to access I-430 South.
AR Red Cross Heading To Florida
Five crews with the Arkansas Red Cross are packing up and heading out to Florida.
They will be helping with the disaster relief effort in the wake of Tropical Storm Debby.
There are five crews, 10 people total, deploying from Little Rock, Blytheville, Pine Bluff, El Dorado, and Hot Springs. The groups will first stop in Tampa then sent to where they are needed from there.
Lady Antebellum Headlining in NLR Wednesday
Lady Antebellum, the Grammy award winning trio is headlining a concert at North Little Rock's Verizon Arena Wednesday.
The American country pop music trio has won numerous awards including "Best Country Album" at the 54th Grammy Awards and song of the year and record of the year for "Need You Now" at the 53rd Grammy Awards.
Lady Antebellum will be joined by Darius Rucker and Thompson Square for the show.
