I-430 On-ramp at Shackleford & Hermitage Shuts down Wednesday Morning at 9

Arkansas highway crews will shutdown the I-430 southbound on-ramp in Little Rock on Wednesday morning.
It's another phase of the continued work along I-430/I-630 that's closing the ramp near the intersection of South Shackleford and Hermitage roads until early 2013.
Highway crews will close the ramp beginning at nine o'clock.
The months-long shutdown will allow the contractor to complete most of the work along the west side of Interstate 430 and south of Hermitage to the south end of the project, including the hanging of steel beams for the flyover ramps and replacing the pavement for the closed ramp.
Detour signs will be in place for drivers trying to access Interstate 430 South. Travelers are encouraged to use the entrance ramp for Interstate 430 south located south of the Arkansas Heart Hospital on South Shackleford Road.
Drivers are reminded to be extra careful when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
