Faith MattersTwo faith based conferences kicked off in Little Rock and North Little Rock today.
The Women of Faith Conference at the Alltel Arena and the Arkansas Youth Conference at the Statehouse Convention Center are happening this weekend.
Both boast crowds of several thousand.
The Arkansas Youth Conference is designed to bring teenagers from all over the state closer to god and each other.
The two day event is set-up more like a concert or show than a traditional church service.
There's live music and a comedy troupe and the teens involved say it's refreshing to talk about god with other Christians their age.
The Women of Faith Conference is all about providing hope and encouragement to women of all ages.
The conference is in its 12th year and organizers say it's the largest women's event in the entire country.
Those in attendance will hear from inspirational speakers and more importantly, have the chance to interact spiritually with other women of faith.
At last count, around 2500 teenagers showed up at the Arkansas Youth Conference.
Organizers with "Women of Faith" are estimating a crowd of about 9000.
