No Fireworks Allowed in Benton Due to Burn Ban

Fireworks have been banned in Benton.

Benton Fire Chief Bill Ford issued the ban on the sale and use of fireworks in the city until a county-wide burn ban has been lifted.

Saline County Judge Lanny Fire ordered the burn ban put in place on Friday.

The fireworks ban does not affect the July 4th public display at the Benton Freedom Fest.
