Thieves Target Floyd Fourth of July Celebration Supplies

The Floyd community in White County was targeted by a burglar some time Friday.
The thief broke into the concession stand at the Floyd ballpark.
They made off with a microwave and air conditioner as well as the food and beverages set aside for the town's Fourth of July Celebration.
The White County Sheriff's office is investigating, and say they got fingerprints from the scene.
The loss is estimated at $1,600.00.
No word yet on a suspect, but investigators think the burglar may have been familiar with the annual community festival.
