I-430 On-ramp at Shackleford & Hermitage Shutting down until Early 2013

Another phase of the continued work along I-430/I-630 in West Little Rock is shutting down an on-ramp at the intersection of South Shackleford and Hermitage roads until early 2013.
Highway crews will close the southbound entrance ramp beginning Wednesday at 9AM.
The months-long shutdown will allow the contractor to complete most of the work along the west side of Interstate 430 and south of Hermitage to the south end of the project, including the hanging of steel beams for the flyover ramps and replacing the pavement for the closed ramp.
Detour signs will be in place for drivers trying to access Interstate 430 South. Travelers are encouraged to use the entrance ramp for Interstate 430 south located south of the Arkansas Heart Hospital on South Shackleford Road.
Drivers are reminded to be extra careful when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
